What really matters...enough said
Jordin Sparks
Melinda Doolittle
Lakisha Jones
I mean really, the rest are just karaoke in front of a gazillion viewers.
This would be longer - but I need to go check the Sanjaya blogs.

Willy on JimTube
Ah, fresh from two outstanding shows from Willy. First in Sacramento, where I was quite literally front & center. Then to Pitchouli-ville aka Berkeley, where the seats weren't quite as good, but it's not like there's a bad seat to be had in a non-profit music organization's 100 year old coffee house.
Anywho, here is Willy making his Betsy "Breathe" at the Berkeley show (Betsy is his old 12-string seen being played here). If only I had more to share. Stupid me a) forgot the camera for Sacto show and b) only captured one song from the Berkeley show. Shame on me.

I listen to this CD all the time and buzz around it like I'm hitting auto reverse on my Principle of Moments tape while I delivered pizza in 19?? ...
Yes, that's Dave Matthews on track 4 ...
Tracks 3 and 8 dominate and 11 "Alkime" fights it out regularly with "Big Log" for #1 all time in my heart.
Love these guys ...

Top 5 Reasons to see Willy Porter live
5) You'll never meet a nicer, unpretentious artist. Talk to him after a show and see my point.
4) You'll feel like you ripped him off because you only paid $15 for your ticket.
3) For the women - if only your man's fingers could move like that...
2) Put down your Spin magazine and answer me this, when's the last time you actually supported an independent, non-local musician?
1) It's chic to be a balding white guy from Wisconsin.
