Common sense government - an example

"While agreeing there is significant gang activity in West Sacramento, the 3rd District Court of Appeal said the Yolo County District Attorney's Office had not given enough advance notice of the crackdown to alleged Broderick Boys. Instead, they served the injunction on only one low-level gang member. "

You know - the least the DA / Polic could have done was called. Is that really too much to ask? A simple phone call? To let them know you care?

Makes perfect sense.

Since they did not call the right gang member - gang members can once again congregate drunkenly with other drunken gang members.

Congrats ACLU! You have protected our Constitutional Freedoms once again by giving 2 strikers the opportunity to get their 3rd strike.

Yo, Kev.

Don't feel alone about this local thing - but - it always strikes me as divergent when a D talks about being "tough on crime" at home - but - doesn't/didn't also feel compelled to topple a tyrant and mass murderer of countless; who sent checks for $25,000 to families of islamo-fascist suicide bombers that killed #? innocent civilians in Israel.

Maybe the Broderick Boys - uuurrr, gang bangers - sent enough graft $$$ to Kofi's son ... uuurrr , I meant they sent enough graft $$$ to Yolo's 3rd District Court of Appeals Judge ...

And Sudan, China, Zimbabwe, Burma, Iran are different than Saddam Iraq how exactly?

The point is that there are plenty of dictators in the world.

We could stop the genocide in Rwanda with some helicoptors [janjaweed operate via horseback] but we don't.

So - if I thought for a second that Iraq had anything to do with toppling dictators - then I might have an internal moral struggle on my hands.

Anyway - now that we have done our job toppling the bad guy - can we come home? Just give them their natural resources and come home?
