Yo, DAC-G!
Up in the about space for each YouTube video (who it's from, description, tags, etc.) there are a couple of fields labeled "URL" and "Embed". Both contain HTML code for 2 different ways to link to that particular video.
1) For a simple URL link, copy and paste the contents of "URL" box.
2) For the embedded video in your post, copy and paste the "Embed" contents. When you do this in your post, make sure you paste it while in the "Edit HTML" tab. Once you've done this, you can switch back to the "Compose" tab and at a minimum, you'll see a placeholder frame for the video (might see the actual video, not sure). Viola! You can add anything else (text, more videos, etc.) you want around it.
