Anyone like playing "disk" at the beach?

This just spotted in the CSUS parking lot...

"Lost your balls?

Try Disc Golf"

Well - I am a fan of Bumper Stickers, vanity plates, and the metal thing that goes around your license plate as much as the next guy. But this is political correctness run amock. It is not freaking "disc" golf - it is FRISBEE golf.

As Nugget, Painter, and Marty can attest – perhaps the number 1 attraction to FRISBEE golf is the ability to play it with 1 hand – leaving the other free to hold beer with.
So here is a guideline for “disc” golfers…

1] If you have any gear whatsoever – other than your Frisbees – you are a loser.

2 ]If you play disc golf competitively – you are a loser.

3] If you call Frisbee golf – disc golf – you are a loser.

4] If you practice because you want to be better – [as opposed to a relaxing activity] – you are a loser.

5]If you belong to any disc golf associations – you are a loser.

6] If you “advertise” you affinity and love for “disc” golf on your automobile – you are a loser.

7]And finally – if you blog about disc golf, disc golfers, or bumper stickers in any way you are a loser…

Nonetheless, he still managed to produce three more fundamental contributions as a U.S. immigrant and citizen: making spaceflight a reality to the public, leading the team that launched the first American satellite in 1958, and managing the development of the gigantic launch vehicles that sent humans to the Moon. The sum total of his accomplishments makes von Braun the most influential rocket engineer and spaceflight advocate of the twentieth century. Goddard went further, developing the world's first liquid-fuel rocket, but he was a poor engineer and one constitutionally unsuited to leading a larger group. It fell to the second generation of rocket and space enthusiasts—chief among them being von Braun and Sergei Korolev [the Soviet engineer behind Sputnik]—to realize the founders' vision by serving their governments as engineering managers in the development of ballistic missiles, then by selling those governments on the idea of spaceflight. In terms of firsts, Korolev's achievements undoubtedly exceeded von Braun's. His team launched the world's first ICBM, the first satellite, the first object to escape the Earth, the first object to hit the Moon, and the first man and the first woman in space. But his postwar accomplishments were founded on German technology: by Stalin's order, he started over in 1945–46 by copying the V-2.

What I have been trying to say...all these years

SQL Server relies on the Write-Ahead Logging (WAL) protocol to maintain the Atomicity, Consistency,
Isolation, and Durability (ACID) properties of the database and to ensure data integrity. WAL relies on
stable media capabilities. A solution must comply with this stable media intention.

Keb' Mo' is really great - but that has nothing to do with the death of Sacster.blogspot.com

Brad –
Is it possible that people have tired of Democrats, Republicans, Sally Field, Bad 80s music, Herman Melville, and Jack Kerouac? Or is there a darker, deeper force at work – beyond our comprehension???
Of course no one would ever get sick of my sweet assed response to Jim’s Sally Field waste of bytes…but I digress.
By the way – what did Dave say he was going to do if Hillary Clinton became president. Not sure – but I know it was funny to think about. And now if Dave is a man of his word – he will have to do it.
Don’t get me wrong – I don’t support that DINO [Democrat in name only] – but I do support Nugget having to do outrageous shit as a result of a flippant comment he made thinking – that will never happen.
Anyway – I am not sure what killed sacster.blogspot.com – but in my “Synchronistic Wanderings” - I have developed a theory.

Of course – “Evil Genius” is the Macbeth of our time – so tragic, so sad…

The gripper is how at first the speaker in the poem is referring to the evil genius as "he" - then changes their point of view to "you" and you realize the psychic pain that the speaker is in because the evil genius is actually, gasp, hers!

Or they make a mistake that high school sophomores get dinged for on their essays, by changing voice in the middle of a story, essay, etc...

Either way - that dude should not have killed sacster.blogspot.com

Sacster, of course, cannot be killed, and it grows and grows and grows and the evil genius can never stop it
